Nick Case and Steve Lovell started working together in 2007 under the banner PurePaint. In April 2009, Nick took over the business and in late 2012, he began an extensive rebranding exercise and re-launched the business in July 2013 as Pure Decoration. Steve now runs the IEKO shop in Lewes, selling natural home products including eco paints.
Our website is about a lot more than just selling our services. Our idea is that it will quickly become a useful source of information to assist people interested in creating healthier buildings and healthier environments to live and work in for themselves. We’ll be adding additional information regularly, so come back and have another look.
Our environmental policy
All building trades are notorious for creating a lot of waste and not recycling much, if at all. We aim to recycle everything that we possibly can. It’s sometimes unavoidable to use certain products that are toxic. When we do, and if there are any leftovers, we always dispose of them in the correct manner.
• Paint pots – metal and plastic
• Hard plastics such as caulk tubes
• Plastic bags
• Paper and cardboard
• Packaging such as bubble wrap
• Any removed metal, plastic or timber fixtures and fittings not being put back
We are fully insured
We have £10m employer’s liability and £5m public liability insurance.
We welcome feedback about our website. If there’s anything you’d like to see included, do let us know. And we’d love to hear from you, if you’d like to tell us about anything you’ve discovered about eco decorating, such as great products you’d recommend.
